How do the ingredients in the Luviri Magnetic Eyeliner pen work and are they safe?

Ingredient names always look scary and if you don't know how to research ingredients correctly it can leave you going in circles trying to find the correct answers. We have done the hard work for you and broken down each ingredient of our Magnetic Pen Eyeliner.

Iron Oxide: The main ingredient in the magnetic eyeliner pen is iron oxide. This in its natural mineral form is called magnetite. This ingredient comes in a powder form and gives the eyeliner its rich black colour. This ingredient is also the main reason that the magnetic lashes stay in place. It is a FDA approved ingredient to substitute Nickel which in other magnetic lash brands can cause skin irritation and allergies.

Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer: This ingredient is used to help deepen the colour of the liner. It also helps with giving a water resistant finish after being applied. Determined safe for use in cosmetics with this ingredient not being able to be penetrated into the skin after use.

Propylene Glycol: This is a humectant that helps to maintain the moisture in the product. FDA approved and can also be found in many foods we eat as well. This ingredient helps to stop the liners from drying out in their packaging. It also helps slow down the drying process once applied to the skin so you have more time to apply your lashes before the liner dries completely.

Xanthan Gum: Is natural source of thickener for products our magnetic liner. It thicken the consistency of the liner to make it more user friendly and also has skin moisturising properties. This ingredient is also found in a lot of foods we eat daily. It is non-comedogenic, PH-balancer which means i can not clog your pores or cause breakouts.

Diazolidinyl Urea:  Is used as a safe and effective preservative that prevents the growth of bacteria. The eye area can be prone to holding onto and growing bacteria. When using this ingredient it means you can safely reuse the liner directly onto the eyelid without spreading bacteria. Urea is found in alot of skin care products today helping keep the skin clear and blemish free.

Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate: Is a preservative used in cosmetics to prevent the growth of bacteria. It can be found in a number of cosmetic products like wet wipes and other personal care products. It helps to keep the product's shelf life longer meaning you get more use from the product.

Yes, magnetic eyelashes are reusable. You can use them again and again as long as you take care of them properly, so it's an excellent long-term investment.
